Tell-Tale Signs Guys Are Flirting
Every guy is unique and places a slightly different twist on his flirting behaviors. However, there are tell-tale signs guys are flirting. You may think that he is just acting normally–that he does this with everyone. However, with a little knowledge, you will be confidence that he is, in fact, flirting with you. Learning how to decode both his verbal and non-verbal clues will be a tool in your favor.
First, if a guy is not interested in you, he will barely notice you. If he does glance at you, it will be for a split second. On the other hand, if a guys takes his good ole time addressing you with his eyes, that is one of the signs guys are flirting. Often, this will be seen through a several second gaze, a quick look away, and then another several second gaze. This will be repeated several times.
Surprise appearances are another way that a guy lets you know that he is interested in you. These “chance” encounters are another one of the tell-tale signs guys are flirting with you. You see, guys don’t always present obvious signs that they are flirting, like girls often do. Sometimes, they are nervous about talking and letting a girl know that they like her. Guys have egos and they are scared of getting rejected. These “chance” meetings are a way of flirting, but are less threatening to them. For example, if he had heard through the grapevine that you were going to the movies with friends on Friday night, and it turns out that he is also there, that is usually not a coincidence. Similarly, if make mention that you are going to the mall on Saturday afternoon and then “bump” into him there, that is not an accidental meeting.
Another way to tell whether a guy likes you is by listening to him. Most guys like to talk about their favorite subject. You guessed it: themselves. If you find that a guy is asking more questions about you and really listening to you, rather than talking about himself, that is one of the less obvious signs guys are flirting with a girl. If he leans in closely to you when he is listening to you talk, then that is another flirtation signal.
