How to Know the Signs He’s Flirting
Flirting is the first step in the development of a romantic encounter. If this is the guy that you had your eye on, then it is important to know when he is flirting. Knowing the signs he’s flirting isn’t rocket science. With some keen observation and a little guidance, you will be a pro at identifying his flirting behavior.
So, how do you know whether the guy is simply being friendly or is in fact flirting with you? Guys typically don’t send out as many signals that girls do. So, you need to be extra observant to know the signs he’s flirting. The most obvious signal that he gives when he is flirting with you is that of the eye gaze. He will gaze directly into your eyes, while maintain that gaze for about four or five seconds. He will then look away briefly and then grab another peek in less than a minute. If you get several four to five second peeks within a minutes time, you can bet that he is flirting with you.
Now, just having one signal isn’t enough. It is best if you can catch two or three signs he’s flirting, to be confident that he is in fact interested in you. Another signal that a guy is flirting is by his stance. He will stand erect and tall. A tell-tale sign is if he pushes out his chest while pulling his stomach in. He is doing that to show off his physique to you. He may not even realize he is doing these things with his body, but you will if you are observant.
Another tip that he is flirting with you has to do with his clothes. You may notice that he is playing with his clothes. Some guys will pay particular attention to their socks, especially if they are sitting. They will pull their socks up to make sure they are not bunched up. Sounds odd, but that is what they do. If he has on a jacket, you may notice that he is buttoning and unbuttoning his jacket.
Lastly, if he gives you a quick smile with his eye gaze along with some of these other signal, it is a good chance that he is flirting with you. Now there are other signs he’s flirting, such as in the way he is conversing with you. Sometimes, he will tease you, which is another sign that he likes you.
