Where does one start when looking for love using online dating sites?  There are so many to choose from that it can be quite confusing.  We have all seen the television commercials with the perfectly matched couples that were brought harmoniously together by matching profiles.  My friends and I would laugh at how it seemed these dating sites just found the other person in the opposite sex and matched them up.  That is not the type of dating sites I wanted to use– not at all.  I wanted something more adventurous and something not so predictable.  If I wanted to marry myself then I would stay single for the rest of my life.Since I didn’t want to go with the super formal, traditional type of dating sites, I had to do a lot of research to find a site that was still legitimate and not for people with weird fetishes or who insisted our pets date as well.  I was quite thrilled at the diversity of dating sites on the Internet.  There were dating sites for music lovers, book lovers, wine lovers, and for those who love to travel.  The site I chose was actually one that combined all of the above because they are all great interest of mine.  Once I chose a dating site to go with it was time to do the real work.Coming up with a profile for myself was fun and rewarding.  I am usually very private and humble, but considering this was a “sell yourself” type of situation, I ran with it.  I had my hair and makeup done and had a professional photograph taken.  I know, I know, but I was having too much fun with this.  The bio part was a little more difficult.  I didn’t want to expose too much but I also didn’t want to seem lacking and uninterested.  I decided to stay in the middle a bit just revealing a little with a hint of suspense that there was a lot more of me to get to know.  I clicked save, then preview, and finally, post.  Let the games begin.
